LGT Capital Partners’ Global Staff Event 2026 will take place from Thursday, 25 June, to Saturday, 27 June 2026, in Hamburg.
Hamburg is known as the “gateway to the world”. The city has a rich history, a lively cultural scene and a deeply-rooted identity shaped by centuries of global trade. It combines cosmopolitanism with hanseatic tradition and with its maritime flair, it will offer a unique setting for our Global Staff Event. Hamburg also has a very special place in our own history: it is the city where we welcomed our first client around 25 years ago.
Our 2026 Global Staff Event in Hamburg is about more than updates and agendas – it is about celebrating what makes LGT Capital Partners unique. Together, we will look ahead to key business developments and strategic priorities, while also taking time to strengthen the bonds that connect us as colleagues and as a firm.
The program combines the essentials – our staff meeting, team-building activities and a gala dinner – with space for unexpected encounters and shared experiences that remind us why belonging at LGT Capital Partners extends well beyond work.
Please find more details on the event page (see below).
As you can imagine, organizing an event with approximately 1,000 staff members from 16 offices worldwide presents certain logistical challenges.
We therefore kindly request that you submit the registration form by 30 November 2025, irrespective of your attendance. The tool must be completed both to confirm participation and to indicate non-attendance.
There are various travel options available for the Global Staff Event 2026. Please indicate your preferences during registration.
Please note that flights are always booked in economy class for travel within Europe and in premium economy class (if available) for overseas travelers. Any costs for upgrades to higher classes must be covered by staff members. Flight times may occasionally change and we will notify you promptly if there are any adjustments to your scheduled flight.
You may combine your trip with a client visit, time in Pfäffikon or a personal holiday, but conditions apply: Firm-paid flights are limited to those listed in the registration form and any bookings beyond those flights require approval. Additional costs or holiday-related flights must be covered privately.
For more details, please consult the Event FAQ.
Due to the size of the event, we will be staying in different hotels. For organizational reasons, hotel arrangements will be coordinated by the Steering Committee and individual selection will not be possible. We have selected hotels that are all conveniently located in the city center, offer the same high standard of comfort and are all within walking distance of each other.
To make the most of Hamburg, we have prepared a wide range of leisure activities that will give you the chance to experience the city from different perspectives. Whether on a bicycle or running tour, on the water during a harbor cruise or while discovering the vibrant life of the world-famous Reeperbahn, there is something for everyone to enjoy. These activities are designed to help you explore Hamburg in your own way and create lasting memories with colleagues.
During the event, the dress code is generally casual.
At the gala dinner, the dress code is “festive”, which means:
For women, we recommend long dresses that extend beyond the knee. As the venue features cobblestone flooring, we recommend wearing block heels, wedges or elegant flats for your comfort and safety.
For men, we recommend black tie/tuxedo, or alternatively an elegant suit with a tie.
We have put together a list of frequently asked questions to help answer most of your questions. Please take a moment to read them before contacting us.
Please be aware that all photos, videos, documents and other media assets from this event are for internal use only. We ask that you do not publish or share any of these materials publicly on social media or any other external channels.
